Spiel, Satz und Sieg heißt es im Tennis. Und für die Blues. Ein Unentschieden bei den "Möwen" von Brighton & Hove Albion am morgigen Samstag (KO 16 Uhr) und das "Spiel" (Erreichen der Play Offs) ist gewonnen.
Ob es dann zum "Satz" (Play Off-Finale) und sogar zum "Sieg" (Aufstieg) reichen wird, scheint derzeit allerdings sehr fraglich.
Denn der Zeugwart der Blues braucht derzeit gerade einmal 16 Trikots in die Kabine zu hängen. Das ist die Anzahl der einsatzfähigen Spieler (den angeschlagenen Mutch mal eingerechnet...) von Chris Hughton. Die Blauen müssen damit einer sehr langen Saison Tribut zollen. Das Auswärtsspiel im neuen "American Express Community Stadium" (gehts noch?) ist bereits das 59. (!) Saisonspiel der Blues in dieser Saison.
Besonders die Abwehr bereitet Kopfzerbrechen. Weniger wegen Ersatzkeeper Doyle, dem man vertrauen kann, sondern vielmehr die gerade einmal vier gesunden Defensivkünstler lassen uns zittern.
Aber egal wie, den einen Punkt holen wir morgen.
